Theory of knowledge, by Noah Smith

So here it is: a theory of how a dictatorship might naturally succeed. The basic idea is that when information is more expensive, liberal democracy wins because it collects more and better information than closed societies, but when information is cheap, the sum is bad. knowledge contests eliminate a large part of the resources of a free society. Remember I don’t want to believe me this idea; I’m just trying to shape it.
