Dalmatia Coast in Croatia, the Amalfi Coast in Italy as well On the coast of Monaco in the Mediterranean Sea They are often found on the list of the best beaches in the world. Here are some pictures. It’s hard to disagree. The fourth photo is from Marin Beach near San Francisco. It is also beautiful but obviously more beautiful than other coastal areas? Personally, I don’t think so. But one thing is different. Very few people enjoy the beaches of Marin. Why? Because few people live there. Can something be good if no one can see it?
There is something to be said for protecting natural wilderness but should we do so in one of the world’s most precious lands?
I agree with it Market Urbanism“Simply put, we should build Monaco in the Marin Headlands.”
A tip of the hat to Bryan Caplan who makes a point about beauty in his excellent book Build, Baby, Build.
