Harshil Naik is a 22-year-old aerospace engineer, and co-founder Kanao R., launched Contineu, India’s first AI-powered building intelligence platform (using existing CCTV grids and drone feeds) to help drastically reduce decision-making times and material waste at sites due to inefficiencies in communication loops.
Spencer Schneier is the founder of a Bangalore-based startup working on Commenda.io. He aims to make starting a business anywhere in the world as easy as deploying software. His project, Sling, is an incubator that runs out of his office and he has received his EV funding to create an additional workspace for deeptech and non-traditional innovators based (or looking to relocate) in Bangalore.
Rnjai Lamba researches and develops products that create a noise-free environment around you. Previously, he led over 100 developers and served as CTO of a series B Mexican FinTech.
Sriram Subramanian is a 35-year-old entrepreneur from Mumbai and co-founder of Clever Harvey – a virtual internship platform to help high school students find career paths. His current EV-backed project borrows from high-performance gym training methods to set up timed, team-based “incubation programs” with defined outcomes and built-in accountability.
Rabeea Raheed is a teacher and STEM curriculum developer from Lahore and received her EV grant for general work development.
Vasav Trehan is a 14-year-old activist and founder of @technifyedofficial which is bridging the technology education gap. He wants to democratize technical education and through his channel he helps students upskill with affordable courses, affordable certificates, internships and scholarship opportunities and interview preparation so they can secure a better future. He received funding to scale his technology platform.
Ravindra Guravannavar is a computer science researcher and former member of IIT Hyderabad and Dr. Shashikant Kulgod is a surgeon. They are the founders of Pratibha Poshak, a talent development and development program aimed at identifying gifted students in the 14-16 age group. They received their EV grant to identify high-ability students from remote, underserved rural and poor urban areas.
Akshita Sachdeva again Bonnie Dave are the founders of Trestle Labs, an Assistive Technology company to digitize education and work for everyone against language barriers, literacy and print disabilities such as blindness, low vision and dyslexia through their AI-powered patented technology solution, Kibo (Information in Box). They received their EV funding to help scale Kibo which helps Listen, Translate, Digitize and Audio’tize any type of printed, handwritten and digital content in all 60 languages of the world including 13 Indian languages.
Abhishek Sethi is the founder of India’s leading incubator gradeCapital which sponsors and incubates foreign students by providing them with USD40k to scale their campus science projects. The founders of gradCapital are also placed in clusters in Bangalore to integrate them into the startup ecosystem.
Sandeep Jaykumar is a 42-year-old electrical engineer, interested in complex dynamic systems. He received his EV grant to improve access to information on the web using a market approach, and a more transparent standards approach.
Manu Rewal is an award-winning Indo-French filmmaker. He received his EV grant to help write and produce a thriller with a law and freedom theme. His films are covered by the media here.
Bhagyashree Prabhutendolkar is a 19-year-old college student and writer in Mumbai. He is the founder and director of Empower, a youth-led media center that exists to spark critical conversations among young people.
Karthik Palakodeti is a 17-year-old from Hyderabad who writes and hosts a podcast about animal welfare on a blog she created with the aim of raising important policy questions in the field. He also represented India in the World Schools Debating Championships four years ago.
