The widespread adoption of productive AI across businesses has increased the demand for emergency, including AI security software. It’s a tall order because AI’s reach into an organization’s infrastructure and data is massive, meaning there are many types of security measures needed. This is one of the reasons why attackers like to abuse AI.
We tested nine vendors’ tools for AI security posture management (AI-SPM). This is an emerging field and unfortunately that means many products aren’t nearly as versatile or integrated as they could be. There are at least nine other vendors actively working on similar products that will see a general release within the next few months.

AI security posture management is an emerging cybersecurity discipline focused on ensuring the integrity and security of AI and machine learning systems. AI-SPM includes techniques, tools, and methods to monitor, evaluate, and improve the security of AI models, data, pipelines, applications, and services, even as the threats to those businesses are constantly evolving.
