Cybersecurity doctor Madison Horn made his request to the US Congress

Horn’s Republican opponent, incumbent congresswoman Stephanie Bice, worked in finance, marketing, and business strategy at her family’s technology company for eight years. Bice has also played a major role in the digital marketing agency and currently serves on the House Committee on Science, Environment, and Technology.

It aims to be a ‘powerful’ example of diversity

In the heart of Horn’s constituency, Mitzi Westerman runs a technology company in Oklahoma City. During Horn’s 2022 administration, they met briefly to talk about women in politics and cybersecurity during lunchtime. Westerman says Horn, if elected, would be a powerful example of political and technical diversity.

“I was not very happy that there could be someone with Madison’s background, skills, experience and vision to be in the United States Congress. We are underrepresented as women, in technology and in the leadership of our country right now. So I think it has a big impact,” said Westerman, president and owner of mGroup IT and Telecommunications.
