FlexJobs is pleased to announce its 12th annual list of the Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs.

The 2025 list is based on an analysis of more than 60,000 companies and their remote postings as of Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2024.

Remote work remains at the forefront among today’s professionals, with many declaring remote work as their ideal work schedule and the top thing they consider most important at work.

In fact, when faced with instructions to return to the office, many employees are ready to leave their jobs in search of remote work opportunities and healthy company cultures.

While the workplace has changed to include many job categories, the most common remote work industries include:

The top job categories listed represent industries with the highest levels of remote job options.

Computing and IT holds the top spot as the job category with the longest career list. Historically, this category has been a leader in the remote work market and is considered one of the strongest and most promising fields of work from home.

All top sectors, however, showed steady growth through 2024, underscoring the need for remote talent in a wide variety of industries. While Project Management and Operations remained stable in remote job opportunities, both Accounting & Finance and Marketing grew by 30% last year.

While the total number of remote job postings was low overall, Business Development and Communication showed the highest growth rates during the year, with each industry growing enough to break into the top 10 positions.

Similar to previous rankings, the majority of remote jobs (70%) were targeted at experience-level roles.

However, remote jobs were also posted to managers, senior professionals, and entry-level job seekers.

Manager-level remote jobs (14%) and executive-level remote jobs (10%) accounted for about a quarter of the listings, while entry-level remote jobs made up the remaining 6%.

For the second year in a row, accountants secured the No. 1 spot on the list.

Remote hiring of software engineers grew enough to overtake customer service representatives, while account managers, project managers, and sales and business development representatives grew enough to rank among the top 10 remote job titles.

For the second year in a row, Working Solutions earned the number one spot on FlexJobs’ Top 100 list.

In addition to providing work-from-home opportunities for clients, Working Solutions hires for remote jobs in consulting, project management, and sales. This year, the company was followed by Liveops and UnitedHealth Group, which ranked second and third, respectively.

Six employers — CVS Health, Elevance Health, Kelly, SAP, Stride Inc., and UnitedHealth Group — have made FlexJobs’ Top 100 list every year since its launch in 2014, ranking among the top companies offering remote jobs. .

The 12th annual Top 100 list also includes 33 newcomers, including AECOM, Everlight Solar, Cardinal Health, Black & Veatch, and RTX Corporation.

These companies appear on the list for the first time, demonstrating employers’ continued commitment to providing flexible career options and recruiting talent from far into the future of work.
