Hours after the CSO special went live, several users posted their disapproval on Reddit. Another wrote, “Oh god, I don’t trust you.” Action1 is my personal RMM (remote monitoring and management) at the moment”, while another user said, “This would be a great CS acquisition, but it will probably overwhelm many of us.”
Action1 users in particular fear that the deal will see CrowdStrike scrap some of their favorite Action1 offerings including free management of the first 100 episodes. Users, on Reddit, unanimously agreed that CrowdStrike will likely put all free donations behind a paywall. “RIP Action1, a great product will be missed!” one of them had written.
