We discussed in a recent post that Israel has put itself in a position where if it can use it, a powerful pre-emptive strike would be its best play. We discussed the possibility of using nuclear weapons, including EMP (I had a conversation with a top expert in nuclear physics who vehemently denied that this would represent a major leap and was beyond what Israel could attempt. I need to get more details). But give Galant that Israel’s attack will be “lethal, precise, and surprise” could point to a different type of WMD distribution, say the workers somehow gassing the ground with the nuclear program or the leadership of Iran.

Elon Musk’s X Engaged in ‘Pattern of Election Disruption’ to Help Trump: Reports New Civil Rights Organization (crazy). I fail to see how what Musk is doing is different from what other media moguls are doing, especially Murdoch and the Sulzbergers, except that Musk is very sophisticated. The real problem is not “interference in the election” but that Musk is a publisher through the use of organizational influence, so X and Facebook (who are doing the same thing but less obviously) should lose the Section 230 liability waiver.
