Coal consumption in 2030 is now estimated to be 6% more than last year. That may sound small, but it’s equivalent to adding to the consumption of Japan, the world’s fourth-largest coal-burner. By 2030, the IEA now believes that coal consumption will remain higher than it was in 2010…
